<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube to indwell in a body cavity; the tube preventing the attachment of ingredients generated from the living body such as spit, sweat, urine, sebum, etc., as well as nutritional supplements and others to it, and inhibiting the breeding of bacteria and fungi or the formation of bio-films on it. <P>SOLUTION: A fluororesin film is formed to coat the inner and outer surfaces of the indwelling tube. Available as the materials of the tube are mainly polyolefin-based elastomers, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, silicone rubber, etc. The available coating methods include dipping the tube in an appropriate solution of fluororesin for a fixed time and then drying it, spraying the fluororesin solution over the surfaces of the indwelling tube, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
