A system for controlling an opening and shutting angle of a vehicle door is provided to prevent a vehicle from being damaged and to increase convenience of a user by automatically adjusting the opening and shutting angle of the door based on a calculated open angle. A system for controlling an opening and shutting angle of a vehicle door comprises a first detection member(142) for detecting an opening and shutting angle of the door, and a second detection member(141) for detecting a distance between the second detection member(141) and an obstacle. The first detection member(142) is installed at a door hinge to detect an open angle of the door. The second detection member(141) is installed at the other side of the door where the door hinge is not installed. A locker is installed around a door checker to stop an open operation of the door according to a control signal, and is controlled by a solenoid valve. A control member(130) receives distance information from the second detection member(141), and controls opening of the door.
