A method of cultivating a culture of cell, tissue, etc. There is provided a method of cultivating a culture containing a cell line or tissue (cell co nstitution (2)), including imparting bending motion to the culture. By virtu e of applying bending force to a culture of cell, tissue, etc. (cell constit ution (2)) to thereby curve the culture, continuous compression and extensio n in the direction of thickness from a concave portion toward convex portion thereof are induced so that physical stimulation and deformation not attain ed by conventional pressurization, shear and tension can be loaded on the cu lture to thereby realize the culture appropriate for restoration of the tiss ue at site accompanied by bending.
