<p>The method involves providing a brake lining (1), a brake disk (3) and an actuator (31), which pushes the brake lining at the brake disk and loosens the brake lining from the brake disk. A wheel brake (18) is emergency opened by a detachable emergency releasing device (12), which is switched from an operation braking position into an emergency releasing position. The emergency releasing device is triggered by a safety system e.g. anti-block- and/or electronic stability program-system, during operation-opening of the brake. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an application of an emergency releasing device of a brake for improving the releasing dynamics during operation-opening of the brake (2) a computer program product with program code units, which, when executed on a computer or a releasing system for releasing of an emergency releasing device to implement a method of operating a self-energizing brake for a motor vehicle.</p> |
