A method for making a felt hat using felt fabric pieces of diverse design patterns such as wave, geometric figures, etc., and diverse colors is provided to connect the felt fabric pieces in zigzag form without seaming. A method for making a felt hat includes the steps of: making design panel pieces(11,12,13,14,15,16,17); placing the design panel pieces on a pattern paper panel to make the pattern without a seam line, cutting out the pattern paper panel pieces as patterned, numbering the pattern paper panel pieces to put them together in a puzzle shape, and preparing a pattern layout to decide a sewing sequence; placing the pattern paper panel pieces on a felt fabric and cutting along the outlines of the pieces; zigzag sewing the felt fabric pieces; and ironing and finishing the sewn hat. |
