<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic information display system wherein operations for selecting and determining representative images (or small images), menu-displayed on a display screen, can easily be made using a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The system is configured such that the four or fewer representative images (icons or small images, or the like) in each one menu display are arranged in an arrangement similar to that of four upper/lower/left/right operation buttons of a corresponding remote controller and any of the four or fewer representative images displayed each time is selected or determined by a single operation each, in the menu display of a hierarchical structure that is displayed sequentially and to select and determine the desired representative image (item). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
