<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit easily assembled in which accuracy of relative positions of an LED and an LGP is improved by positioning the LED accurately, and its assembly method. <P>SOLUTION: A holder to hold a light guide plate 50 and the LGP (light guide pipe) 30 is made of two-piece structure of an upper side holder 40 and a lower side holder 20. An FPC 10 of a circuit board is pasted to the lower side holder 20. At pasting, positioning of the LED 11 mounted on the FPC 10 is made by a first jig, and with that state, the FPC is pasted to the lower holder 20. Furthermore, the LGP 30 and the light guide plate 50 are placed on the lower holder 20 by a second jig, and the upper holder 40 is placed on top of it, and with that state, these are fixed by caulking the claws 41-43 of the upper holder 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
