An anti-shake apparatus is provided to restrain impacts generated when a movable unit is contacted with the end of its movement range without a fixed positioning tool after control for driving the movable unit is set to an off state for an anti-shake operation, thereby contributing to the phase stability of a photographing apparatus. A movable unit(30a) is movable for an anti-shake operation. A controller(21) control the movable unit for the anti-shake operation, stops the anti-shake operation after an exposure time, moves the movable unit to a first position after the anti-shake operation, and fixes the movable unit to the first position after the completion of movement of the movable unit to the first position and until a photographing apparatus is set to a state that the next image processing operation can be performed. The first position is in a direction in which the movable unit moves according to the force of gravity. |
