<p>A sawing strip is provided to reduce a local waveform formed at a cut end portion by forming edges of a first face of a sawing strip having an interval larger than an interval of side surfaces vertically measured to a minimum height of the first surface which is defined by an imaginary line of the first surface. A sawing strip(1) for fixing a cylindrical workpiece(2) when slices are cut from the workpiece comprises a first face(4), a second face(5) opposed to the first face, and two side faces(6,7). Two edges(8,9) of the side faces have a distance of 'a'. An imaginary line(10) on the first face marks a minimum distance of 'd' from the second surface. The side surfaces has a distance of 'b', which is measured perpendicularly to the distance of 'd' at a height of the imaginary line and is smaller than the distance of the edges of 'a'.</p> |
