PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large display panel having a large screen, or a display panel capable of ultra-large display wherein a plurality of display panels are arrayed in tiled arrangement. SOLUTION: Since the pitch of a thin film transistor array is smaller than the pitch of a pixel electrode, a display panel can be driven by using a thin film transistor substrate smaller than a print circuit board. As a result, even when a plurality of display panels are placed close to each other, a sufficient dimensional margin for performing wiring connection can be kept and a useless area is not created between adjacent display screens. Thus, a large display screen can be easily achieved. Also, the uniformity of the thin film transistor can be enhanced, and a display panel of good quality can be obtained. Further, in the configuration wherein a print circuit board is used instead of a glass substrate, a display panel which is hardly damaged can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
