<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device capable of detecting a lamp signal which has removed the leaking current component and thereby, capable of controlling appropriately a high frequency generator, and a lighting system using this discharge lamp lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The detected signals [Im×sin(2πft)+Ileak×cos(2πft)] and [Vm×sin(2πft)] of a lamp current detecting means 17 and a lamp voltage detecting means 18 are multiplied by a multiplier 20 and thereafter, a frequency component of two times of the lighting frequency is removed by a filter circuit 21. Thereby, the leaking current component [Ileak×cos(2πft)] is removed and the feed-back signal for controlling output of the high frequency generator 1 becomes one based on the current flowing actually in the discharge lamp 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
