PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particles for display media having proper retention characterists of charged amount, which particles can eliminate the trouble of deterioration in a display performance, such as decrease in image concentration, and deterioration in drive performance, and to provide a panel for displaying information that uses the same. SOLUTION: The particles 3 constitute the display media used for the panel for displaying information, wherein the panel encloses the display medium between two substrates, either of which is at least transparent; and the panel displays information such as images by applying the electric field to the display media to move the display media.
