PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic resin composition that exhibits enhanced impact resistance without deterioration in strength, hardness, dimensional stability and chemical resistance. SOLUTION: A methacrylic resin is compounded with a fine powder filler composed of a fluororesin which exhibits higher heat resistance and chemical resistance and lower hardness than the methacrylic resin. Incorporation of such fine powder filler with the methacrylic resin enables enhancement of impact resistance without deterioration in strength, hardness, dimensional stability and chemical resistance.
