The invention relates to a venting unit for venting, aerating or draining a pipeline network, comprising: a medium pipe (1), whose lower end is connected to a section of the pipeline network; a shut-off organ (2) that is located on the medium pipe; a casing (3), which surrounds the medium pipe, leaving an annular gap; and a sealing cap (7). The invention is characterised by the following features: the annular gap has at least one annular seal (4); the casing consists of polyethylene or another material; and the interior (14), which is delimited by the sealing cap, the casing and the annular seal, (if there are two or more of the latter (4, 5), then by the upper annular seal), is hermetically sealed in relation to the external environment. |
