<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic circuit where a necessary radial magnetic field is generated, and a radial magnetic field can be generated in whole substrates, in a simultaneous film forming process and a simultaneous thermal treatment process of a plurality of substrates in manufacturing of a magnetic disk device. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnetic circuit for generating radial magnetic field, at least two magnetic circuit units are provided together with a pair of annular permanent magnets at both sides of an arrangement face of an annular substrate as a processing object. Further, the magnetic field is generated in the radial direction of the annular substrate. The two magnetic circuit units are combined so that the arrangement faces of the annular substrates of the whole magnetic circuit units become the same plane. A pair of the annular permanent magnets are in shapes having different volumes in a part near the adjacent magnetic circuit unit and in a part far from it.
