PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which enable a quick acquisition of a high concentration detergent aqueous solution by dissolving a detergent and has preferable washing property and efficiency. SOLUTION: The washing tank 2 provided on the inside of a casing 1 of the dishwasher 100 includes a dish basket 3, rotary washing nozzles 11, 11 jetting water to the dish 18 mounted on the dish basket 3, a tubular fixed washing nozzle 20 extending along the central part of the back face and the upper face of the casing 1, and a water supplying pump 7 supplying compressed water to the rotary washing nozzles 11, 11 and a fixed washing nozzle 20. The end part of an upper side extending section extending along the upper face of the washing tank 2 of the fixed washing nozzle 20 is fixed with a detergent case 21 while covering the discharge opening at the end of the upper side extending section.
