摘要 A method for preparing E0 type urea resins using titanium dioxide is provided to produce the E0 type urea resins having good adhesive strength and low formaldehyde emission in a simple manner. A method for preparing E0 type urea resins having low formaldehyde emission includes the steps of: performing an addition reaction and a condensation reaction to the extent of 60-70% using the recipe of easily producible E1 type urea resins(urea : formaldehyde molar ratio = 1:1.4); thereto adding a second urea and titanium dioxide as a photocatalyst at the same time, wherein the titanium dioxide is added in a ratio of 1% per total dry urea resin weight; and preparing E0 type urea resins while irradiating the admixture with an ultraviolet light source of 315-400 nm to reaction completion.
