<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prostacyclin production promoter useful for platelet aggregation inhibition, blood flow improvement, vasodilation, etc., and a food or a beverage containing the promoter. <P>SOLUTION: The prostacyclin production promoter comprises a coffee fruit, a coffee bean or an extract thereof as an active ingredient. The extract is obtained by finely cutting, pulverizing, crushing and cutting the coffee fruit, the coffee bean or dried material thereof which is a starting raw material and then, adding a solvent such as water-containing ethanol thereto and extracting the active ingredient with the solvent.
