PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discharge failure and alignment failure of sheets caused by rising of rear ends of the sheets already stacked on a stacking tray. SOLUTION: At the time of discharge of a sheet P, a bundle lifting member 39 regulating the tip of the sheet P is arranged in a first position P1. A bundle lowering member 37 regulating the rear end of the sheet P is arranged in a third position P3, so as not to hinder scraping off of the rear end of the sheet P by a scraping-off member 51. After discharge, the bundle lifting member 39 is moved from the first position P1 to a second position P2 and the sheet rear end is made abut on the bundle lowering member 37. Then, the bundle lifting member 39 is moved from the second position P2 to the first position P1, and at the same time, the bundle lowering member 37 is moved from the third position P3 to a fourth position P4. Since the rear end of the sheet P on the stacking tray 35 is within an effective pressing region A of the scraping-off member 51 all the time, the rear end is not lifted up.
