PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which can fold and heat-seal a packaging film according to the outer shape of a box-shaped product. SOLUTION: Edge parts 203 extending from both sides of the box-shaped product 100 are folded inward at the corner portions corresponding to the ends of both sides so as to form flaps 204. Further, the flaps 204 are vertically folded so as to form a flap overlapping portion 205, and then temporarily fastened by a first side heater 20. Subsequently, a part from both sides of the box-shaped product 100 including the flap overlapping portion 205 to the corner portions corresponding to the ends of both sides is heat-sealed by the second side heater 30 into a flat shape.
