An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to eliminate the necessity of the initial transition when performing the band orientation of liquid crystal materials. A liquid crystal layer shows the bend alignment at the state with no power. The first liquid crystal layer(30a) is installed on the first alignment layer(109). The second liquid crystal layer(30b) is installed on the second alignment layer(209). The third liquid crystal layer(30c) is installed on the first and second liquid crystal layers. The first and second liquid crystal layers are constructed by liquid crystal materials with high and low molecular weight. The third liquid crystal layer is constructed by the liquid crystal materials with low molecular weight. The first liquid crystal layer is installed on the first alignment layer of an array substrate. The second liquid crystal layer is installed on the second alignment layer of an opposite substrate.
