PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand power monitor system capable of monitoring demand power by a simple structure, and using this demand power information for the demand control of an electric power load. SOLUTION: A demand power monitor system is provided with a demand power monitor device 2 that monitors the demand power of power consumption by an electric apparatus 10, a transmission power line carrier device 64 for transmitting the demand power information of the demand power monitor device 2 through a power line 60, a receiving power line carrier device 74 for receiving the demand power information transmitted through the power line 64, and a monitor display device 4 for displaying the demand power information by the receiving power line carrier device 74.
