The invention relates to a hand-held tool, in particular a hammer drill ( 10 a, 10 b), comprising a shaft ( 12 ) and a lifting control bearing ( 14 a, 14 b) which is mounted on the shaft ( 12 a, 12 b) and which is used to translate a rotational movement into a lifting movement. According to the invention, a percussion drive connection is arranged between the shaft ( 12 ) and the lifting control bearing ( 14 ) in at least one of the first switch configurations and the percussion drive connection is interrupted in at least one of the second switch configurations.
