<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting system emitting planar irradiation light uniform in a luminance distribution by blocking unnecessary light from a point light source. <P>SOLUTION: Recessed parts 115 are formed on an end surface of a light guide plate 11 on the side entering light; and, in arrangement where LEDs 12 mounted on a flexible wiring board 12 are housed in the recessed parts 115, the flexible wiring board 12 is installed on a front surface 112 of a light introduction part from a light-entering-side end surface 111 of the light guide plate 11 to a region corresponding to a light-emitting area 113. The flexible wiring board 12 is provided with copper wiring patterns 142a-142c widely extended over its nearly whole area; and travel toward an irradiation object of light causing generation of an abnormal bright part on the light source side in the planar irradiation light is blocked by the copper wiring patterns 142a-142c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
