The method involves setting signal-carrying radio waves with a predetermined frequency and field strength by a e.g. radio receiving device. A power-determinative output variable of the radio receiving device is detected and evaluated. The radio receiving device is loaded in a temporally extensive test program with the radio waves of the predetermined frequency in accordance to a prior stored field strength-time curve, and the output variable is measured as the function of the field strength. An independent claim is also included for a test arrangement for testing a mobile radio receiving device.
