The present invention is a method for deterring piracy of source media data to target media data comprising a first step of providing a source media with commerci al- free data recorded thereon, and an embedded code to detect copying, and the code containing a hidden and imperceptible commercial therein; and a second step of implanting the commercial irremovably, perceptibly, and integrated onto the target media data, on detection of copying, and allowing the copy to continue and complete error- free.
