Determination of the angle of rotation of an electric motor

The method involves detecting a zero point of a motor current signal and/or of a motor voltage signal after the switching off of an electric motor by using a detection unit (10). A reverse rotating angle is determined through a model-based rotation of the motor current signal and/or the motor voltage signal by using a scanner. A beginning of the reverse rotating angle is defined according to the zero point of the current and/or voltage signals after the switching off of the electric motor. An independent claim is also included for a device for determination of a rotating angle of an electric motor.
