An electric cord with a magnetic coating is provided to simplify a layout configuration of the electric cord by enabling magnetic coatings with opposite polarities to pull each other. An electric cord is coated with a magnetic coating. The magnetic coatings of the electric cord are arranged to pull each other by a magnetic force. The magnetic coating(11) and a non-magnetic coating(12) are alternatively arranged to enclose the electric cord. An N-pole magnetic coating and an S-pole magnetic coating are alternatively arranged to enclose the electric cord. The N-pole magnetic coating and the S-pole magnetic coating are pulled with respect to each other by the magnetic force.
