PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a burst detector and to reduce power consumption of the burst detector by unnecessitating a matching filter by detecting the amplitude of an in-phase component I and a quadrature phase component Q of a demodulation signal respectively through a moving average filter, coupling the amplitude and defining it as a threshold value. SOLUTION: In a rough frequency burst detector 950, A/D converted In , Qn signals are formed as In ', Qn ' by shifting phases by -πK/2 radian by an inverter 120 after a phase error dQ is removed by a phase compensator 100 of a phase shifter 100. Then, a moving average of signal sample I, Q components is calculated through the moving average filters 300, 400, the amplitude of the I, Q components is detected by amplitude detectors 500, 600, the detected amplitude is coupled by a cumulator 700 and supplied to a signal threshold value detector 800. Consequently, a DSP is adopted, the power consumption is reduced by reducing the scale of the circuit and calculation resources are simultaneously and effectively utilized. |
