An image processing device and an image processing method are provided to omit the instruction of a user about the same operation when performing a repeated scanning and image process to improve the convenience of the user. An image processing unit(150) scans a scanning object and performs a certain image process of a generated scan image. A control unit(170) displays the generated scan image on a display unit(140), selects a plurality of regions of the displayed scan image, sets an image process to be applied to the selected respective regions, and controls the image processing unit(150) to perform the set image process of the selected respective regions and generate the last image.
