APPARATUS FOR LOCKING A DOOR OF SWITCHGEAR

An apparatus for locking a door of switchgear is provided to facilitate opening and closing of the door since positions of a rotation lever to start or finish opening and closing are exact. An apparatus for locking a door of switchgear includes a 'I' type arm shaped hanging part, a handle axis(3), a rotation lever(20), a latch pin(21), an interlocking part(30), a vertical bar(40), and a plurality of latch rods(41). The 'I' type arm shaped hanging part is installed at a vertical frame in a side of an inlet formed in front of a main body of the switchgear plurally. The handle shaft is installed in a through-hole formed in a front end of the door. The rotation lever rotates centering on a rotation center axis of the handle shaft together with the handle shaft. The latch pin is protruded toward the door. The interlocking part has a size and a shape which allow the interlocking part to move vertically in response to only a vertical displacement amount of the latch pin. The vertical bar is disposed on a front end of the door so as to move vertically together with the interlocking part. The plurality of latch rods are received in the arm shaped hanging part.
