<p>An asphalt concrete aggregate using electric arc furnace oxidizing slag is provided to exhibit improved physical properties by showing better results than general aggregate in Marshall stability, indirect tension, and wheel tracking tests. An asphalt concrete aggregate using electric arc furnace oxidizing slag is mixed with a surface layer, an intermediate layer, and a base layer of asphalt concrete. The asphalt concrete aggregate is obtained by breaking and grinding oxidizing slag of an electric arc furnace comprising SiO2 19.0-31.1wt%, Fe2O3 29.6-38.2wt%, Al2O3 7.0-13.9wt%, CaO 14.5-38.0wt.%, MgO 6.0-8.1wt%, and K2O 0.14-0.28wt%, removing the iron component(Fe2O3) from the ground material, and sorting the resultant by size.</p> |
