<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of conducting coding and decoding under a condition suitable for signal characteristic and improving image quality even in the case of shuttle reproduction. SOLUTION: A coding parameter setting means 11 sets a coding parameter in response to a type of an image signal. A compression data generating means 12 codes the image signal with a coding parameter to generate coded data and generates compression data RDT including the coded parameter and the coded data. A decoding data generating means 21 receives the compression data RDT, decodes the coded data based on the coded parameter to generate decoded data.</p> |
