An automatic pressure control device for a principal axle bearing of a machine tool is provided to remove the need of complicated mechanical and electrical equipment and to reduce an error in operation by installing a spring and a slider in a housing and a magnet at a principal axle. An automatic pressure control device for a principal axle bearing of a machine tool, applying pressure automatically to a ball bearing(120) supporting a principal axle(110) of a spindle in a housing(100), comprises a first collar(150) and a first slider(170) with a slope, which move right and left by ball bushes(140,141) in the housing, where the first collar is connected to the first slider with a second spring(161), a first spring(160) installed at an opposite side of the first slider, a second slider(171) installed symmetrically to the sloped surface of the first slider to slide along the slope, a first magnet(180) installed integrally at an end of the second slider, and a second magnet(181) installed at the principal axle apart from the first magnet. The first spring is compressed and the second spring is extended according to rising of the second magnet by increasing centrifugal force in accordance with revolution of the principal axle, so that the pressure to the first collar diminishes.
