A clutch release learn control method of a manual transmission is provided to secure startability and stability of engine RPM(Revolution Per Minute) in starting and to prevent shift shock by learning a clutch release operation in up-shifting or down-shifting while driving. A clutch release learn control method of a manual transmission comprises the steps of: detecting motor RPM and rotational speed in executing a clutch release operation if the operation of a clutch release actuator is detected while a vehicle stops(S101,S102,S103); judging whether a clutch is completely coupled or not, by judging the clutch release state(S104,S105); judging whether an engine is turned off or not(S107); judging whether the number of engine-off times exceeds a set value or not(S109); decreasing the motor RPM and rotational speed by making the release operation of the clutch slow if the number of engine-off times exceeds a set value according to complete coupling of the clutch(S110); judging whether engine RPM is increased over the reference level at the complete coupling point of the clutch if the engine is not off(S111); and increasing the motor RPM and rotational speed to progress the clutch release operation fast, if the increase of engine RPM over the reference level is detected over the set times(S113).
