A structure of a probe for sampling in a steelmaking process is provided to easily separate a sprue from a sample mold since a separation groove is formed on an outer surface of the probe. A structure of a probe(1) for sampling in a steelmaking process includes a sample mold(5), a sprue(4), a holder holding hole(23), and a temperature sensor protection cap(6). Many-fold upper branch pipes(2) and lower branch pipes(3) form a cylindrical shape. The sample mold for storing collected samples is formed on an inner bottom of the upper and lower branch pipes. The sprue is formed in an upper part of the sample mold so that a molten sample is introduced. The holder holding hole is formed on an end of the upper branch pipe so as to insert a temperature sensing holder(20). The temperature sensor protection cap is attached to an end of the lower branch pipe. Separation grooves(10) are formed on an outer surface of the probe so that the separation grooves are in alignment with a connection surface where a lower end of the sprue and an upper end of the sample mold are in contact with each other.
