The mold tool core (4) presents a transversely-protruding, undercut profile (9) on at least two opposing walls (2, 3) next to the mouth of the crate (5) being produced. The undercut nature of these profiles ensures that they abut the crate walls (8), preventing an undesired outwards deformation of these walls due to adhesion to the corresponding tool parts, as the outer tool parts are moved apart in order to open the tool. The core is then moved along the walls in an outwards direction so that the impressions of the profiles against the inner surfaces of the relatively long walls slide along the profiles until the walls become completely detached, after which the crate can be removed from the mold. |
