A device for driving away birds from a telegraph pole is provided to effectively prevent the birds from approaching the telegraph pole by a simple structure and at a low cost. A device for driving away birds from a telegraph pole(10) includes a plurality of thin line fixing members(30) and a plurality of thin lines(50). The thin line fixing members are installed in an area where the birds approach. The plural thin lines is supported by the thin line fixing member to cover the bird approaching area, thereby preventing the birds from approaching the telegraph pole. The thin lines are preferably made of a nonconductive material such as a synthetic resin-based material. Diameters of the thin lines are preferably 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm. The thin line fixing members are installed in an insulator disposed on a cable support(20). The thin line fixing members are also installed on the top(11) of the telegraph pole so as to prevent the birds from approaching the telegraph pole. |
