A printing apparatus is provided to improve the print quality of a color filter layer formed on a substrate by applying a uniform pressure to a substrate even though a flatness of the substrate does not satisfy a predetermined level in pressing the substrate in order to adjust heights of R G, B patterns printed on the substrate. A work stage supports a substrate. A press roll is disposed around the work stage to press the substrate on which at least one of R(red), G(green), B(blue) patterns is printed in order to adjust a height of at least one of the R, G, B patterns. The press roll includes a press roll body, a print sheet, and a buffer unit(73). The print sheet is disposed in an outer circumferential direction of the press roll body and coupled to the press roll body. The buffer unit is disposed between the press roll body and the print sheet to absorb a pressure applied to the print sheet in pressing the substrate.
