<p>The filter (101) is cleaned using the filtrate as the cleaning fluid. A method for cleaning the filter cloth and/or filter cake in a pressurised white liquor filter in a process where lime is added to a green liquor before the filter, which is used to separate the white liquor from the precipitate, comprises the use of a spray nozzle and cleaning fluid substantially comprising the filtrate from this filter. An independent claim is also included for the cleaning arrangement, comprising a tank (107) which is used to collect the filtrate and is connected to the nozzle via a pipe (140) so that a high-pressure pump (141) can be used to spray the filtrate against the slurry side of the filter cloth.</p> |
