PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard film having the excellent wear resistance and the adequate lubricity without degrading characteristics caused by oxidation even under a situation where high-temperature heat is generated by the friction heat generation. SOLUTION: The hard film is deposited on a surface of a base material. Two or more kinds of films different from each other are laminated with one or two or more layers, respectively. Each layer has a composition expressed by formula (1) (Al<SB>1-a-b-c</SB>V<SB>a</SB>Si<SB>b</SB>B<SB>c</SB>)(C<SB>1-x</SB>N<SB>x</SB>), where 0.27≤a≤0.9, 0≤b+c≤0.2, and 0.1≤x≤1.0 (subscripts in formula represent the atom ratios independent from each other).
