A hinge device of a portable terminal is provided to rotate housings so that the housings are adjacent in parallel state side by side, and to extensively rotate the housings so that the housings are confronted with each other, thereby easily performing front/rear opening/closing actions of the terminal. The first housing(20) is extended in length direction. The second housing(30) is rotated in vertical direction of the length direction at the first and second hinge shafts(A1,A2) from the first housing(20). At least more than one multi-axial hinge device rotates the second housing(30) at the first hinge shaft(A1) while a front side of the first housing(20) and a rear side of the second housing(30) are confronted with each other, so that the second housing is adjacent in parallel state, and extensively rotates the second housing(30) at the second hinge shaft(A2) so that a rear side of the first housing(20) and a front side of the second housing(30) are confronted with each other.
