A fuel mixing prevention apparatus is provided to prevent an accident caused by fuel mixing by notifying an attendant of a kind of fuel and by preventing inadequate fuel from being fueled. A fuel mixing prevention apparatus comprises: a power supply unit(110) mounted around a fuel filler of a vehicle, a switching unit(120) mounted around the fuel filler, which enables the power supply unit is switched on when a fuel filler cap is opened and a kind of fuel detecting unit mounted around the fuel filler, which notifies an attendant of a kind of fuel when power is supplied from the power supply unit. In addition, the kind of fuel detecting unit includes a display unit(130) mounted around the fuel filler, which notifies the attendant of the kind of fuel when the switching unit is turned on and the power is supplied and a voice notification unit(140) mounted around the fuel filler, which notifies the attendant of the kind of fuel visually.
