<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel input device capable of distinguishing an operator without providing an exclusive area. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel input device that receives input by fingers of operators being located in a plurality of mutually different directions relative to the panel surface comprises a direction recognition means (a pattern recognition part 71, an angle of tangent calculation part 72, and an angle computation part 73) for recognizing the direction of the finger that touches the panel surface, and an operator specification means (an operator specification part 74) for specifying which direction the operator who has performed input is present, based on the recognized direction of the finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
