PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that noise by cogging vibrations and torque ripple vibrations is generated during spin-drying. SOLUTION: The vibrations and the noise are suppressed by providing a motor 12 for rotationally driving a washing tub 11, a speed detection means 30 for detecting the rotation speed of the washing tub, a current detection means 40 for detecting a current flowing to the motor, a control means 20 for controlling the motor by the detected speed and current and a target value, a vibration detection means 50 for detecting the vibrations by torque ripples and cogging torque, a vibration control means 51 for adding a vibration control amount for canceling the vibrations to the control means, a vibration adder 27 for computing a torque control amount by performing vector control on the basis of the detected current and adding the torque control amount and the vibration control amount, and an addition switching means 28 for switching whether or not to add the vibration control amount corresponding to the operation mode of the washing machine.
