PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic system and an X-ray photographing method, where a bed carrying a subject and a rotary arm carrying an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector are rotated relative to each other, thereby increasing their rotation speed during the time of X-ray photographing. SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic system comprises: a bed capable of carrying a subject and turning the subject's body axis within the prescribed scope of angles; a rotary arm installed with an X-ray generator for irradiating X-ray on the subject and an X-ray detector for detecting the X-ray having penetrated the subject's body so that they can face each other across the bed, and made rotatable around the subject's body axis on the bed; a controlling section for irradiating X-ray on the subject from the X-ray generator while rotating the rotary arm and the bed and photographing the subject; and a display section for displaying medical images using the image data generated through X-ray photographing.
