Device comprising a motor fan unit for a vehicle heating and/or air conditioning unit. A body (12) is fitted dismantleably with a motor (16) for the fan and means (16A) for agitating air along the axis of the motor. The body (12) comprises an air inlet orifice (20) around which is removably fitted an air inlet module (30). The air inlet module is fitted with a flap (32) which alternately closes off a fresh air inlet (22) designed to communicate with the outside of the vehicle and a recirculated air inlet (24) designed to communicate with the cabin of the vehicle. Said module (30) is lateral with respect to said air inlet orifice (20), more or less on the axis of the motor. Said body (12) and said module (30) comprise collaborating means designed to allow the module (30) to be fitted or removed substantially along the axis of the motor (16).
