PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a joint structure between a drum-shaped terminal fitting and a wire is complicated because an engaging element of a small metal ring is once engaged with the end of the wire and the engaging element is inserted through a stepped insertion hole formed in the terminal fitting, and so the small metal ring is uselessly required, and there are inconveniences of increased manufacturing manhours because the insertion hole formed in the terminal fitting is a stepped hole. SOLUTION: In the end face of the drum-shaped terminal fitting which has a circular engaging face and the insertion hole formed in the direction crossing the axis of the engaging face, an axial hole is provided extending to the axial direction.
