A plasma display panel is provided to reduce a physical resistance value between a bus electrode and a transparent electrode by forming a scan electrode and a sustain electrode as the transparent electrode and the bus electrode having a portion contacted to a black layer. A scan electrode(11) and a sustain electrode(12) are formed on an upper substrate(10). The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are comprised of transparent electrodes(11a,12a), black layers(11c,12c), and bus electrodes(11b,12b). The bus electrodes are laminated to be separated from a side end of the black layer. The bus electrodes are attached to the black layers and the transparent electrodes. A line width of the transparent electrode is 240 mum to 310 mum and a thickness thereof is less than 1 mum. A line width of the black layers is the same as that of the bus electrode and a thickness thereof is less than 2 mum. A line width of the bus electrodes is 60 mum to 110 mum. A thickness of connected portions of the bus electrodes with respect to the transparent electrodes is different from that of the connected portion of the bus electrodes with respect to the black layers. The thickness of the connected portion of the bus electrodes with respect to the transparent electrodes is 2 mum to 7 mum. The thickness of the connected portion of the bus electrodes with respect to the black layers is 5 mum to 10 mum.
