<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve shortening of an article design period and improvement in design efficiency and to achieve resource saving and productivity improvement caused by reduction in components or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Video display equipment comprises a plurality of circuit board units and an ID is respectively set to the circuit board units depending on each delivery. Further, a control circuit stores software programs compatible with all deliveries and is used in common independently of the delivery. Further, the control circuit collates IDs acquired from the other circuit board units and judges the connection of the circuit board units for a particular delivery when a combination of particular IDs exists. For example, it is recognized that the circuit board units with the specifications for domestic use are connected to the control circuit according to the combination of *A, 1B, 1C, *D, 1E.
